About
Who I am is irrelevant. I have no formal education in philosophy, or in many of the fields that interest me, but that doesn't stop me from thinking, arguing and being wrong, as a path toward being right, even if that, too, may be an illusion.
This blog is a set of explorations, not finished arguments. It proposes one way of looking at an old problem: what happens to free will if an all-knowing God exists and the universe branches, as the Many-Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics suggests it might. It rests on several premises that are open to dispute, and it does not prove any of them: that Many-Worlds is correct, that quantum differences can carry a decision either way, that branching divides one person into several, and that an Aristotelian God knows everything without creating anything.
I have not found this exact line of thought in the literature, but related ideas exist, and I have named those I know of. I offer these essays as a starting point for discussion, and for more rigorous work by those better equipped to do it.
The ideas are my own, researched and edited with the assistance of AI tools. The final edit is mine.
